I advised the management to integrate sensors and wearable technologies into existing product lines and give the solution a strong social message. We designed a wearable band inspired by the friendship bracelet with the technology hidden inside the clasp, thus bringing the fashion element forward: technology “simply exists.” The digital service is focussed on measuring emotions and helping people to connect to their human side. This message has been reinforced by the brand, HOPI, and the partnership with Not For Sale, a world-leading charity which would benefit from a sister band to reconnect the people they help with society. We designed a Not For Sale online training platform to help them learn new skills and enjoy a new life.
